Just bought another one. The volume is screeching loud every time it turns on, and the battery degrades over two years to the point that it won’t turn on even when plugged in. Still worth it.

I wanted a portable speaker with both USB and Bluetooth inputs. I thought there will be more options but most of the other units available on Amazon are from unknown sellers or at a much higher price point. This Pyle unit was one of the very few from a brand I had heard before (though Pyle may not be really a ‘premium’ brand).It is a good size speaker and has some weight to it. One main concern is it seems to be a mono speaker (i.e. single speaker), though the title says ‘Surround’ for some reason. I checked out all the inputs and found them to work as expected.Volume at the start can be quite high, so make sure to reduce the volume (you have to press and hold left/right (previous/next) buttons to decrease/increase volume). You can cycle through different modes by M button. Bluetooth works fine, syncing is easy. When you cycle to the USB mode and plug a USB drive it just plays any songs in the drive, you can move through the songs using the buttons. It’s simple to use.Sound quality is OK, but nothing to brag about. But for my requirement, the sound quality was not a big need anyway, so at this price its fine. Volume, on the other hand, is quite good. At maximum loudness, it can be hard to stay near it for a long time. It comes with a 3.5mm cable and micro-usb to USB cable to charge.

I have had my Pyle speaker for 3 months now. I absolutely love this portable, Bluetooth speaker, especially considering how reasonable the price is! It is easy to use and gets pretty loud. The sound quality is pretty decent, too! My only complaint, and it’s why I gave it only 4 stars, is because sometimes when I go back to using the speaker, say to watch a movie on my laptop, it breaks up bad and I have to unpair and then re-pair it to fix this issue. It only takes a minute or so, but it is a bit frustrating. That said, I’m very pleased with my purchase. If you’re looking for a compact, portable, nice sounding Bluetooth speaker that can get pretty loud, then this is the speaker for you! #noregrets

Bought as a gift, my son loves it. Decent sound, he uses for listening to videos, podcasts & music on a Chromebook. Fairly loud for what it is.

I really liked this speaker. For the price, the sound is great and can be very loud. It has all the input devices I was looking for, which is why I bought it. Hard to find a flash drive port. Yes, there is a however… I was not crazy about the size and or shape. It was too large for my workspace. There are no blinking lights or other distractions. I took a star off for it’s design and for having the volume blast out at you when powering on. I’m sad I couldn’t make it work. Still, best price and very good speaker.
