    I am an instagram content creator, with no previous knowledge of phone stabilizers or gimbals. So when I stumbled upon videos of these interesting gadgets, I was sold! Bought this with the main goal of achieving smooth and steady shots. In the past, my walking POV videos would always turn out shaky. With the DJ OSMO 6 gimbal, my problem was solved!Let’s talk about my first impressions and the initial hurdles I faced:-Opening and closing the gimbal from its lock position was initially quite challenging. I read the instructions diligently, but it didn’t provide a clear explanation. The mechanism felt tight, and I was worried about damaging the product if I forced it open. Thankfully, YouTube tutorials came to the rescue, providing step-by-step guidance on how to properly open/close it. Once I mastered it, the gimbal became much more user-friendly.-Another thing that was quite confusing at first, was the joystick’s movement and speed… when you make it go left, the gadget would go right and vice versa. And the panning speed was way too fast for my liking. (I prefer slower panning movements.) Again, YouTube tutorials came to the rescue, as I learned that you could change the joystick direction and speed in settings.-In my opinion, this gadget has a learning curve, but after playing with it a few times, handling it becomes second nature.Now let’s move onto the features I absolutely love about the DJ Osmo 6:-Smoother/Steadier Filming (especially while walking, or during movement shots)-Active Track: I’m obsessed with this feature. As someone who often shoots videos alone, this feature is a lifesaver. It tracks and follows you quite accurately, and if I temporarily get too far out of its detection range, it quickly finds me again right when I am back in its radar.-Compatible w/ standard tripods: You can screw the gimbal onto any standard tripod. It already comes with a leg attachment and (a “selfie stick” extension) which allows you to stand it up on the a table or on the floor. But if you’re out in nature and want to shoot at eye level, the fact that it connects to a tripod is game-changing. It makes you so self reliant as a content creator. Gone are the days when I would have to beg family members to take my pictures or videos. 
-Gesture Control: This is another winning feature for me. By simply raising my hand and doing a peace sign, the gimbal initiates recording or photo capture. By raising my hand and giving a stop sign, it will stop. It is very convenient as I no longer have to press record and then run to the frame.-Battery Life: I’m usually out for 3-4 hours when shooting content, and its battery life is more than enough for my needs.In just two weeks of using the DJ OSMO 6 gimbal, I can confidently say that it has been worth every penny. It is now an essential tool that I cannot live without in my content creator journey. Can’t wait to explore more of its capabilities, and if I discover anything else noteworthy, I’ll certainly update my review .Before I sign off, I must stress enough that YouTube tutorials are very valuable and necessary for this product. They really help with overcoming any challenges that the package instructions fail to expound on.

   Taking the DJI Osmo 6 with me on my family trip to Banff was an absolute game-changer, and it paired seamlessly with my iPhone 14. The integration process was refreshingly straightforward, and I appreciated how smoothly it worked with the DJI app. Speaking of which, I have nothing but positive comments about the app itself. It’s user-friendly and adds tremendous value to the overall experience.One standout feature of the DJI app is its intuitive guidance through different stabilization modes. Whether I wanted silky-smooth footage of my family’s adventures or breathtaking landscape shots, the app provided the flexibility to get as creative as I wanted. It’s like having a professional camera rig right in the palm of your hand.What makes the DJI Osmo 6 truly perfect for me is its ability to capture high-quality videos with just my iPhone, eliminating the need to carry around my bulkier SLR or mirrorless cameras. It’s a lightweight and convenient solution for on-the-go videography, and it never compromises on quality. I found myself reaching for it time and again during the trip, and the results were consistently impressive.Overall, the DJI Osmo 6 has elevated my family’s travel videos and allowed me to capture the beauty of Banff in a way that’s both convenient and visually stunning.    Si quieres aprovechar la cámara de tu móvil al máximo, pruébalo. Decir que llevaba tiempo queriendo una gimbal (desde la Osmo 4) ya que últimamente usaba más el móvil que mi réflex, así que finalmente me decidí y la compré. no me arrepiento de mi decisión, pero deciros que si os decidís y os la compráis, al principio puede que os decepcione un poco, porque los resultados se ven después de bastante práctica y de que conoces todos los modos para usarlos de forma fluida y sin pensar, al final es como todo, cuando aprendes a conducir un coche, y más un manual, vas todo el rato pensando en cambiar, girar el volante, poner el intermitente y darle al limpiaparabrisas. No os preocupéis, hay multitud de guías teóricas y de vídeos en internet que os ayudarán a daros cuenta del potencial de este estabilizador y daros muchísimas ideas a la hora de grabar y de planificar vuestros proyectos de vídeo para editar luego.La caja viene con la propia gimbal, con un anexo que usaremos como extensión para agarrarla mediante conexión por tuerca y que tiene tres pies que se abren para usarla como trípode (muy versátil) y la agarradera que va al móvil que conecta al brazo de la gimbal por imán (muy seguro).No me voy a poner a explicar aquí los entresijos, pero como highlights expondré lo siguiente:Lo primero será bajarse una app, llamada DJI MIMO, disponible para iOS y Android. En ella podremos modificar casi todos los parámetros de toma de vídeo una vez conectado al móvil por bluetooth: ISO, nº F, cambiar los modos de seguimiento y estabilización, calidad de vídeo que nos permita nuestro móvil… Dejar claro que podremos usar la gimbal y el móvil en “modo libre”, con la app nativa de grabación de vídeo de nuestro móvil, pero no podremos manejarlo mediante bluetooth.Tenemos un botón “M” para cambiar los modos de estabilización, uno de grabación, un joystick que usaremos para los movimientos verticales y horizontales y un botón-rueda a la izquierda que podremos intercalar para usarla como zoom o apretando el botón para cambiar número f, y un gatillo en la parte trasera que se una cómodamente al quedar de forma muy hergonómica.Tenemos 6 modos de estabilización:4 podremos seleccionarlos mediante aplicación o el botón “M” situado a la derecha del display LCD donde vemos el estado de la batería, la conexión con dispositivo móvil y el modo elegido:Modo seguimiento: Fijamos un objeto y el autofocus del móvil al reconocerlo lo sigue automáticamente, aunque no movamos físicamente estabilizador (con las evidentes limitaciones, si se nos sale de plano porque el brazo no gira más no hará magia)Modo inclinación: Bloquea el movimiento TILT (arriba-abajo) pero permite hacer PAN (movimiento panorámico de izquierda a derecha).Modo FPV: Se usa para tomas en que se busque un efecto en primera persona.Modo Spinshot: Se utiliza para crear un efecto de giro usando el joystick modificando el plano de rotación.Otros 2 modos se usarán apretando el gatillo:Bloqueo: Al mantener pulsado el gatillo. Bloquea el móvil en la dirección que nosotros queramos y la mantiene fija aunque nosotros movamos el brazo.Modo deportivo: Al pulsar 2 veces y mantener la segunda pulsado. Permite que el móvil no se bloquee y siga los movimientos de forma fluida.Al apretar 3 veces al gatillo se alterna el modo panorámico y el modo vertical (mueve el móvil)Otro tip importante es aprender a caminar, hay que buscar una forma de “deslizarse” para que el efecto sea más logrado.En resumen, es una herramienta a la que sabiendo usarla con soltura podremos hacer cosas quizás no semiprofesionales pero sí muy por encima del amateurismo.Como punto negativo, la propia estructura del brazo no permite hacer giros muy pronunciados hacia el lado del propio brazo, es decir, si giramos mucho hacia la derecha la estructura que une brazo y móvil acaba tapando el plano, y más si usamos focales muy abiertas.Lo mejor que podéis hacer, en definitiva, es probarla, luego ver vídeos para pillar ideas, y después usarlo hasta aburriros.

   Très bon stabilisateur pour smartphoneCet stabilisateur pour smartphone est performant. Il s’adapte parfaitement à mon Samsung S23 ainsi qu’aux téléphones Apple. Il est livré avec une sacoche de transport et un câble USB de type C (notez qu’aucun bloc secteur n’est inclus).L’application propriétaire DJI est recommandée, mais l’utilisation du stabilisateur est tout aussi fluide sans. L’ensemble fonctionne sans le moindre bug. Au démarrage, il suffit de prendre quelques instants pour calibrer le téléphone avec l’application, et par la suite, le stabilisateur s’ajuste automatiquement pour maintenir le téléphone bien droit.En ce qui concerne l’autonomie, elle est conforme aux spécifications annoncées par la marque. Le rendu est remarquablement stable, que l’on soit en marche ou en course ; les images sont d’une qualité bien stabilisées
